Dr. Melanie GilbertDr. Melanie Gilbert is a Kansas City native. After working for 20 years in the casino business, and being a massage therapist, she developed an interest in repetitive stress on the body as well as ergonomics. She uses those skills in helping other special interest groups such as musicians and other body workers. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology as well as her Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland University-Kansas City in 2012.   She became a fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America in 2018.  Dr. Gilbert was in practice in Columbia, MO before returning home to Kansas City to serve as a clinical educator at her alma mater as teaching a technique class and being a champion for diversity and inclusivity.
