Dr. Christina Padilla

Dr. Cristina Padilla Bravo, DC was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed her Bachelor’s in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. In 2014, she graduated from New York Chiropractic College with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. In 2017, after relocating to Jacksonville FL and with the mission of serving women and children in NE Florida, Dr. Padilla founded Thrive Family Chiropractic, a house call practice, in order to provide direct, personalized chiropractic care to families, within the comfort of their home. Since then, the practice has evolved into a predominantly perinatal and pediatric practice with a special interest in postpartum recovery and infant care for conditions like tethered oral tissue (TOTs) and birth trauma.

Dr. Padilla completed her certification as a Pediatric Chiropractor (CACCP) from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, as well as becoming Craniosacral trained in 2020, a BirthFit! Coach in 2021, and Spinning Babies certified in 2022. Most recently, in June 2023, she completed her 100-hr Acupuncture Certification and NBCE Acupuncture Boards.

Dr. Padilla has served as a 3-time President of the River City BNI Chapter in Jacksonville, FL. She was appointed Board Member for the Sanctuary on 8th Street, a non-profit organization in NE Florida. Additionally, she has served on the board for the Women Chiropractors non-profit organization since 2021. In 2022, she co-found Femaled, a stock photo website for female healthcare providers focused on increasing cultural diversity and representation within healthcare marketing. In October of 2022, Dr. Padilla became a part-time clinician at Palmer Chiropractic College in Florida, where she leads a team of interns at an outreach facility inside a women’s rehabilitation center.
